The composition of this medium corresponds to the classical Tryptic Soy Broth (TSB) with the addition of Lecithin and
Polysorbate 80. In this way the culture medium combines the optimal growth characteristics of TSB with the antimicrobial,
neutralizing action of the lecithin and the Polysorbate 80. Polysorbate also helps to emulsify the hydrophobic phase of the
cosmetic and protects the stressed microorganisms.
